Our Ayurveda Practitioner

Hailing from Kerala, India, the birthplace of Ayurveda, Ann is an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner and mental health clinician with over 15 years of experience in holistic health and wellbeing. She completed her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) at the Government Ayurveda College, Kannur (Kannur University), one of India’s most prestigious institutions for Ayurvedic medical education.

This rigorous six-year medical degree provided comprehensive academic and clinical training in Ayurvedic medicine, pharmacology, anatomy, physiology, pathology, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, and Panchakarma (detoxification) therapies, qualifying Ann as an Ayurvedic doctor in India.

Ann is a registered member of the Travancore-Cochin Medical Council, the official state regulatory body for qualified medical practitioners in Kerala, India, which oversees all recognised systems of medicine, including Ayurveda. She is also an Ayurvedic Professional Member of the Australasian Association of Ayurveda (AAA) Inc., the peak professional organisation for qualified Ayurveda practitioners in Australia.

She began her clinical career at the renowned Kandamkulathy Ayurveda Hospital in Kerala, where she gained hands-on experience treating a wide range of health conditions using authentic Kerala Panchakarma therapies and herbal formulations. Her approach combines deep traditional knowledge with compassion and a personalised touch.

After completing her B.A.M.S., Ann pursued a Master of Business Administration (Bharathiar University) with a specialisation in Hospital Management, focusing on quality of service delivery and client-centered healthcare. She later moved to Australia, where she further advanced her professional expertise by completing a Master of Social Work (University of Western Australia), integrating her Ayurvedic background with modern clinical and community health practice.

As an advanced mental health clinician, Ann integrates evidence-based psychological therapies with Ayurvedic mind–body principles, offering a comprehensive and empathetic approach to well-being.

At Aura Ayurveda, Ann and her team evaluate each person holistically through the lens of body, mind, and spirit to create personalised Ayurvedic care plans that restore balance, vitality, and harmony. Her vision is to share the authentic healing traditions of Kerala Ayurveda through compassionate, evidence-informed care that helps individuals reconnect with their natural state of well-being.
